Eau Fraiche by Christian Dior c1953

Eau Fraiche by Christian Dior: launched in 1953. Created by Edmond Roudnitska.

When the fragrance was sold in the United States, it's name was changed to Eau de Cologne Aux Fleurs Fraiches instead of Eau de Cologne Fraiche de Christian Dior (it's name when it was sold in Europe).

So what does it smell like? It is classified as a refreshing citrus fragrance with an herbal chypre accord. It is recommended for daytime use during summer. 
  • Top notes: mandarin orange and lemon
  • Heart notes: rosewood
  • Base notes:  vanilla and oakmoss 

This original fragrance has been discontinued, but in 2009,  it was reformulated and relaunched as a limited edition.

Eau Svelte by Christian Dior c1993

Dior Svelte, originally, a skincare line launched in 1993,  later introduced Eau Svelte in 1995, as a two-in-one body treatment fragrance formulated with skin care ingredients. The eau de toilette formula included hyaluronic acid to moisturize, aloe vera and cooling menthol to give skin a refreshed feeling.

So what does it smell like? It is classified as a fruity floral fragrance for women.


  • Top notes: citrus 
  • Middle notes: flowers, black currant
  • Base notes: musk


Unfortunately, this fragrance has been discontinued.

Eau Svelte was reformulated and relaunched in 2011, though the fragrance is classified as a green floral and smells different.


  • Top notes: citrus and foliage
  • Middle notes: jasmine, ylang-ylang
  • Base notes: musk, rosewood

Dune by Christian Dior c1991

Dune by Christian Dior: created by Jean-Louis Sieuzac, Dominique Ropion and Nejla Bsiri-Barbir under the guidance of Maurice Roger and was launched in 1991 (in USA in 1992).

Remember Me by Christian Dior c2000

Remember Me by Christian Dior : created by Nathalie Lorson and launched in 2000. A limited edition eau de toilette, that was only available in limited numbers exclusively at the Paris boutique, then by 2001, was offered at Sephora stores.



So what does it smell like? It is classified as a Floral Green fragrance for women.
  • Top notes: yuzu, hyacinth, bergamot
  • Middle notes: mimosa, violet, lilac, white jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, hawthorn
  • Base notes: Provencal iris, sandalwood, white cedarwood

Sweet Sun by Dior c2004

Sweet Sun by Christian Dior: launched in 2004. A limited edition, Sweet Sun, Eau de Bienfait Parfumee, an alcohol-free sensual fragrance which evokes the feelings of summer.  The fragrance includes the pro-endorphin, Vitamin E, which gives a natural feeling of pleasure. The bottle is reminiscent of a sunscreen lotion bottle.

Originally retailed for $40 at Christian Dior boutiques.

So what does it smell like? It is classified as a floral oriental fragrance for women.

  • Middle notes: Tiare flower, jasmine
  • Base notes: vanilla, musk, ginger

Poison was launched in Paris in 1985, trademark records show that the name was trademarked in 1983.


Diorling by Christian Dior c1963

Diorling by Christian Dior: created by Paul Vacher and launched in 1963. The name Diorling was a play on Darling. Christian Dior adored all things British and this was his take on how the upper classes pronounced Darling.

La Collection Particulière by Dior - Limited Edition c2007

In 2007, Christian Dior released a special limited edition perfume collection to mark their 60th anniversary. Dubbed "La Collection Particulière" comprised of a trio of perfumes created by designer John Galliano in collaboration with perfumer François Demachy. The fragrances themselves were inspired by three models, Stella Tennant, Kate Moss and Gisele Bundchen.


Dioressence by Christian Dior c1969

Dioressence by Christian Dior: created by Guy Robert and launched in 1969.




Dioressence was first available as a bath oil concentrate, to help condition and perfume the skin. In the same year, it was also available as body lotion, cologne spray concentre and eau parfumee spray (an eau de parfum), followed by friction lotion, foaming milk bath and hand soap. These items were sold from 1969 til 1975.

From 1979 onward, the fragrance was available in parfum, eau de toilette, body lotion, dusting powder, hand soap, talc, body cream, bath gel, solid perfume,

In 1982, the Dioressence Esprit de Parfum was introduced.

Diorella by Christian Dior: created by Edmond Roudnitska, was launched in 1972. The name combining Dior's name was most probably inspired by Cinderella.
