Dior-Dior by Dior was launched in 1976. The nose behind this fragrance is Edmond Roudnitska.
For the launch, Christian Dior hired a Concorde and flew European journalists and "beautiful people" to Marrakesh where Dior-Dior was given a grand introduction, in a king's palace.
It was available in parfum and eau de toilette.

Unfortunately, this fragrance has been discontinued for some time. It was discontinued by 1986 but old stock was still being sold in 1987. The closest replacement would be Diorella by Christian Dior.

Fragrance Composition:
So what does it smell like? It is classified as a floral chypre fragrance for women with a dominant jasmine note. It starts with a fruity, spicy top, followed by a narcotic floral heart, resting on a sensual feminine base.
- Top notes: peach, rune, cumin, bay oil, honeysuckle, aldehydes
- Middle notes: jasmine, jonquil, rose, tuberose, , lilac, narcissus, carnation, lily-of-the-valley
- Base notes: oakmoss, sandalwood, amber, leather, civet

Should warm water on the bottle neck fail, tap the stopper gently with a knife handle; or try rubbing face cream or vaseline around neck of stopper.
